Refunds & Exchanges

Event Tickets are nonrefundable except in the case of a cancelled show.

If you are unable to use your event tickets, it may be possible to donate them to a charity (Kids-Up-Front, Big Brothers Big Sisters, etc) or contact the promoter for more options.

Tax receipts may be available, depending on the charitable status of the promoter.

Transfers

If you are the original purchaser, you may use the Showpass App to transfer a digital ticket to another person (limited to one time per ticket).

Exchanges/Upgrades

Did you purchase tickets, and now see better seats available? We can help!

If the event organizer has enabled exchanges, you can exchange your tickets for FREE using the Showpass App.

Please note:

  • Exchanges are not available 48 hours from a show.

  • You have to exchange an entire order, you can’t select only certain tickets to exchange

  • You cannot initiate two exchanges at the same time

  • You can only use exchange credits for orders of equal or greater value

  • If you have a complimentary, transferred or free ticket you cannot initiate a ticket exchange.

Please note that exchanges are not available for:

  • Tickets for events that are less than 48 hours away

  • Complimentary, transferred or free tickets, or tickets purchase through resale

  • VIP and other premium experience tickets

  • Tickets purchased with additional related items and/or bundled products, such as merchandise

  • Tickets of lesser price (than the price you paid for the original tickets)

Promoters may have different policies for refunds and exchanges for subscribers or season-ticket holders. Please check the website of the promoter for specific policies.

Ticket Pricing, Limits and Availability

Please adhere to published ticket limits. Persons who exceed the ticket limit are subject to having any or all of their orders and tickets cancelled without notice. This includes orders associated with the same name, email address, billing address, credit card number or other information.

Our event provider clients decide at their sole discretion which of their tickets are made available for public sale. The tickets we sell belong to our clients and typically represent only a portion of (and sometimes substantially less than) the total venue seating capacity.

Additional tickets may be released for public sale by the event provider as late as the event date.

Ticket prices are subject to change at any time.

Babes in Arms

Please note that third parties may set minimum age restrictions for attendance (5+, 13+, 18+, etc)

For “all ages” shows, babes in arms are welcome. The infant will need to be accommodated on the parent or guardian’s lap, as no seat will be allocated. Children over the age of two require a seat and therefore a paid ticket.

Ticket Delivery and Pick-up Specifications

Tickets are typically delivered electronically. If you wish to have your tickets mailed out, and do not receive your tickets one week prior to the event please contact the Polaris Centre Box Office at 403-255-9368.

To ensure that tickets reach patrons in time, the cutoff date for mailed tickets is 7 days from the event.

Tickets may be picked up at the Polaris Centre box office by the credit card holder with the valid credit card used to make the purchase in addition to government issued photo identification. The tickets can be picked up on weekdays between 11am and 4pm at the Box Office (located at #8, 261051 Wagon Wheel View, Rocky View County) or on the night of the event at the event venue box office beginning one hour prior to the event start time. To avoid line ups we recommend arriving at the venue box office no later than 45 minutes prior to the event start time.

Event Postponement/Cancellations

In the event that an event is cancelled, every effort will be made to reschedule the event, with the original tickets valid for the rescheduled date. If, after the rescheduled date is published, the purchaser wishes to receive a refund, one will be offered. Patrons who have purchased tickets can receive a refund by contacting the point of purchase by phone or in person.

The Polaris Centre Box Office is only able to issue refunds to ticket holders who have purchased their tickets in person through the Polaris Centre Box Office or online at www.PolarisCentre.ca.

Promotional tickets purchased directly from Third Party Promoters are not refundable through the Polaris Centre.

Information Verification and Usage

All orders are subject to credit card approval and billing address verification. Please adhere to published ticket limits. This includes orders associated with the same name, e-mail address, billing address, credit card number or other information. After your order is processed, please contact our box office at 403-255-9368 if you have any questions regarding your order.

By ordering or purchasing a ticket to an event, you are consenting to The Polaris Centre sharing your email address and other information with those involved in this event (e.g., venues, teams, artists' representatives and fan clubs, promoters and leagues) for Customer Service purposes. You may choose to have those involved in this event use your information to contact you by email or other means to send you marketing or other messages or use or disclose your information in other ways. Please contact them directly to learn about their policies. By ordering a ticket to an event you agree with the Polaris Centre sending you occasional promotional emails unless you elect otherwise.
